ChatGPT - 2025 Eels prediction

Feeling a bit bored tonight so I asked ChatGPT to predict how many games the Eels will win in the first eight rounds of the season.

That's what I got:

In the first eight rounds, the Eels will face the following opponents:

  1. Round 1 (March 9): Away vs. Melbourne Storm
  2. Round 2 (March 16): Home vs. Wests Tigers
  3. Round 3 (March 23): Home vs. Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
  4. Round 4 (March 30): Away vs. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
  5. Round 5 (April 5): Home vs. St George Dragons
  6. Round 6 (April 12): Away vs. Canberra Raiders
  7. Round 7 (April 20): Away vs. West Tigers
  8. Round 8 : BYE

Predicting the exact number of wins for the Eels in these rounds is challenging due to the dynamic nature of sports and the influence of factors such as team form, injuries, and match conditions.

However, based on recent analyses and expert opinions, the Eels are expected to face a competitive season. Some predictions suggest that the Eels may struggle to make the finals, with discussions highlighting the need for key players like Dylan Brown to elevate their performance.

Loved the comment about DylBro LOL

Anyway, I reckon we'll be lucky to win 3 games - Tigers, St George, BYE

The Parramatta Eels' 2025 campaign is shaping up to be a full-blown disaster. A toxic mix of internal turmoil, questionable coaching, and a disintegrating roster has created a perfect storm of negativity around the club. Forget finals contention; some analysts are predicting a wooden spoon battle for the Eels.

The Jason Ryles experiment is already being labelled a catastrophic failure. Reports of player revolts and a complete lack of communication have painted a picture of a team in complete disarray. Ryles' game plan, if it even exists, is shrouded in mystery, leaving players confused and demoralized. The recent exodus of key staff members further underscores the toxic atmosphere within the club.

The situation has been exacerbated by the very real possibility of Dylan Brown's departure. Rumours of lucrative offers from rival clubs are swirling, and the loss of Brown would be a devastating blow to the Eels' already fragile hopes. His potential exit would not only leave a gaping hole in the halves but also shatter what little morale remains in the playing group.

Mitchell Moses, once the Eels' shining light, is now seen as a symbol of the club's decline. His form has plummeted amidst the chaos, and his leadership has been called into question. Whispers of discontent between Moses and the coaching staff have further fueled the negativity surrounding the team.

The Eels' forward pack, once considered a strength, is now a laughing stock. Their supposed dominance has evaporated, replaced by a porous defensive line and a shocking lack of discipline. Players like Junior Paulo, once lauded for their power, are now being criticized for their lack of effort and poor defensive reads. The soft underbelly of the Eels' forward pack is being ruthlessly exposed, with opposition teams running rampant through the middle.

The injury situation is also dire. Key players are constantly sidelined with niggles and strains, a testament to the club's questionable training methods. The Eels' depth is woefully inadequate, meaning that even minor injuries can have a crippling effect on the team's performance.

In short, the Eels are in freefall. The combination of a disastrous coaching appointment, the potential loss of key players like Brown, and a complete breakdown in team culture has created a recipe for disaster. Experts are lining up to bury the Eels' season before it even begins, and the once-proud club looks set for a long and painful year. The only question now is: how far will they fall?

    • Are you BA in disguise. Fuck off.

      • Lol. I highly doubt Brad is typing out the google AI. But in this day and age nothing would surprise me.

Seriously, did you give any thought before posting this??? Are you running off pure emotions after a defeat in a trial game??

The club has assembled a great group of people now running our footy program, we've had mixed bag of results under BA  - a good old fashioned flogging was aways just around the corner!! Defensively weve been a rabble for years!!! Depth has been rubbish!! Close to ZERO coaching in all grades!! In BA time time his only priority was the top 30 squad and nothing else!! No emphasis on skills, defensive system the list goes on...loyal to a bunch of mercenaries who rarely put the club first! negotiating a contract at this eels is travelling circus!!! Player options that's didn't put the club first! Most negotiations all in favour of the players!! Young parra Juniors having their path blocked - BS game plans that were so fragile, they never held up when our under the blow torch. Seriously, how could any supporter be satisfied with that blueprint? So the club luckily get Ryles after making a lame attempt at signing Bennett - Ryles puts a stop to these BS options, digs his heels in when dealing with Gutho, DB -all of this  and you think it's a sinking ship ??.BA time at the eels ended like the Titanic!! Ryles get this squad looking fit, skills is the emphasis!! Now the work is underway reconnecting supporters and ALL Parra player's back to its DNA!! This squad is BA"s team NOT Jason Ryles, our coaching  staff  are in the process of undoing all them shitty habits and patterns embedded into these players over many years!! Half of this squad won't be around, they are not FG standard as evidenced by the trials - time develop Parra Juniors throw them in the deep end like we saw back in the late 90's and early 2000's - short term pain long term gain!! Yes it's going to a tough ride this year, it will take 12 months to lock down a new system of play, good habitt, more resilient squad - a confident team that makes better defensive decisions. Ryies has to restore pride back into the Parra jersey, build trust amongst the playing group - established a new coaching philosophy that penetrates every grade!!

Get a grip mate, all you've shown with this post is your lack of knowledge for what's really happening.

      • Lol

        Mick read the first line

        • Lol Kurupt even that has hard going

      • I didn't write any of it. None of it is my work. The original post is in relation to AI and so was my post. If I'm honest I can't write that well haha.

        • Lol Nitram, my point is things are not that dire

Just a period of change, eels supporters are a tough, reslinant bunch - we've been through much worse

"Au contraire. Let Jakob get in the clear, sit back and have a picnic to catch their breath, then chase him down. He will spend so much energy galloping not that far away from stationary players that he will run out of puff for much else."
