Captain Caylo on the footy show.

Man this guy will be missed. All the best brother and thanks for the awesome memories. A true legend in the blue and gold.I must admit that I choked a bit watching the tribute they had for him so imagine Saturday when he plays his last game for his beloved eels. I think there will be no dry eyes in thejoint. Thanks for the memories again big man. You will never be forgotten. I hope they smash the warriors for Caylo.

  • Damn I forgot the footy show was on. Hope Eels win by 20+ for a good sendoff but the warriors are looking mean.
  • Well said Adam1969!!

Looking forward to the post match field presentation! I hope we send him out a winner!
  • A true warrior of the game, and a pillar of the Parramatta side. Good luck Caylo, Thanks for your time, and thanks for the memories!
  • Hear hear. I love the way this guy played the game and the passion he showed towards his mates and that eels jersey. Once again a true living eels legend if ever I saw one. On ya Captain Cayless.
  • I am so sad that I will be missing Caylo's final game.

He is a true champion. The game does not make them like Caylo anymore.

A tremendous leader, both on and off the field and a man that you could be proud to call your Captain. He has always given 100 per cent, led by example and has always been committed to our amazing club.

He is going to be missed so much. i am getting teary as I write this blog.
  • Loyal Servant, and a quality bloke off the field which is even more important in the long run, as the great Jack Gibson once famously said I Think or something simialr (could'nt be bothered looking it up) "Played hard, done well" or maybe" played well, ran hard"enough said, but hang on the great man also said "winning starts in the front ofice" prophetic words indeed, not rocket science. ADIOS AMIGO CAYLESS U HAVE BEEN A WONDERFUL PLAYER, HARD, SKILFUL, GREAT OFFLOAD AND ONE OF YOUR MASTERFUL PERFORMANCES THAT STICKS OUT IN MY MIND IS THE 01 GF QUALIFIER AGAINST THE YEAR BEFORES PREMIERS THE BRISBANE BRONCOS, U DOMINATED WEBCKE THAT GAME AND SET THE PLATFORM FOR OUR VICTORY THAT DAY! ONE OF YOUR BEST GAMES FROM MEMORY, U HAVE'NT JUST EARNT THE RESPECT OF THE FANS BUT MORE REWARDING IS THE RESPECT OF YOUR PEERS AND U CAN PROUDLY STAND SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH PRICEY AND LOCKYER AS ONE OF THE GREAT MODERN DAY LEADERS, ALWAYS RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS AND A STEELY DETERMINATION IN YOUR EYES THAT WIL SERVE YOU WELL IN YOUR REAL ESTATE CAREER, UNDERRATED BY MANY BUT DEFINITELY NOT YOUR TEAMMATES AND ESPECIALLY YOUR BEST MATE BUTTCRACK HINDY WHO OBVIOUSLY LOVES U LIKE A BROTHER AND WHO NOW GETS A COUPLE OF YEARS TO LEAD THE TEAM HIMSELF AND CHASE THAT ELUSIVE GF VICTORY, NO PREMIERSHIP MY MAN, JUST SHOWS HOW PRECIOUS THEY ARE, MANY GREAT MEN AND PLAYERS STANDING IN THAT BAR, BUT WHEN U HELD THE WORLD CUP ALOFT AFTER 38 BRAVE AND COMMITTED PERFORMANCES FOR THE KIWIS I SMILEDV AND WAS HAPPY FOR YOU, SALUTE!!! AHHHHH
  • how come you're going to miss it tinks :(
  • Well said Adam. He has been one of the mighty blue & golds ever and his inspirational efforts and direction will be sadly missed. I wish caylo all the best in his future endeavors and may we smash the warriors for a final fitting sendoff for the man
  • 100% agree Adam!

Shame he's leaving, but I hope we can send him out on a high with a win.
He deserves that at the very least.
  • I have a job interview PE12. :-(
