CANTERBURY has sensationally released troubled teenager Moses Suli just one month after signing him on a massive deal.

The Bulldogs confirmed on Wednesday they had agreed to part company with the 19-year-old hulking outside back.

It comes barely four weeks after Suli was released by the Wests Tigers to join Belmore on a three-year deal reportedly worth around $430,000 a season.

Overweight, late to training, more  than enough chances. What a joke!

  • Give him 300k for a year, see how he goes.

    • He would be lucky to get minimum wage now Snake.

In previous years though he would have been exactly the type of player we would have gone for.

Now the club he would probably fit in with would probably be the titans or penrith

    • Give him 300 ? your off your head.
    • 100k maybe. Apparently he has got a lot of demons. Sounds like the right guy for ba to mentor. But wow, he certainly didn't learn anything from his tigers sacking. I think they would need to get him some professional help.
  • Straight to the Warriors, on the gravy train and he’ll help Kearney get sacked!
  • Dogs will go hard for Mansour now.
  • Apparently on Friday he begged for one last chance.

Monday morning = late for training.

  • Perfect example of why the NRL should bring in standard, modest youth contracts.

Give kids this kind of money and freedom and what do you expect is going to happen?

Uniform contracts until they turn 20, also will mean they will make their early club decisions on things like what's best for their development, rather than who is throwing the most coin at them.

    • You can't do that. Its a free and open market. In addition to that you might end up losing your most talented to Union.

    • I don’t agree.

This guy sounds like he would have thrown it all away regardless. Definitely issues outside of Football. Reminds me of Jacob Loko in a way. I thought Loko was unbelievable when he first debuted. Had it all. He wasn’t on a big contract but just couldn’t stick with it. What a waste.

"He was provided all the legal advice before signing the release and understood the stipulations. Just because R360 didn't eventuate doesn't mean he can force his way out of it lol. Spoilt brat defence is not going to work for Lomax or the storm 🤣 "

"LB, Eli, good stuff gents. We've acted in good-faith. By the book. With clean hands. Lomax appears not to. Still, equity is not unlikely to view an NRL-wide 3-year restraint until 31Oct 28' as overly-punitive and read it down.
We'd still win,…"
