WE told you a few weeks back how the Sharks were circling tough Bulldogs utility Joel Romelo who kept the competition leaders ticking in the absence of Kris Keating for the past fortnight.Canterbury have now responded with a two-year offer for Romelo.Well im stunned reporters or Schubert havent said anything. Beginning of the year they were all saying '11 players of contract' so thats where the money's coming from, and thru out the they keep signing and resigning players, its at the stage where someone like Roy Masters should start to investigate the dealings of the club.It will be too late if they win a grand final, cause as we all know its the losers that suffer on grand final day and the winners, well they get fined, lose points, release one or two players, yet they keeps the rings and memories of that special day.So how many players at the Dogs are left unsigned?Just trying to keep this blog up to date....Resigning of Kris Keating for a further two years.J Wright signs with the sharks. From 11 uncontracted players so far 1 has left....

  • They are back loading contracts as clubs have been unofficially told the cap will increase to 5 mill after the new tv deal.

It's called forward planning.........we call it the academy
  • Grunta, you can't go around upsetting the Bullfrog fans. No, they belong to News Ltd like Melbourne and Brisbane nooooo we can't upset Mr Murdoch

  • bet there is a lot of backended deals, it will hurt them in the end, just not for a couple of years.

Greenberg is taking a punt on how much the cap will increase by as well i think, could be a masterstoke or he could look like a fool. If only we had someone running our club with this sort of foresight.

  • You see the problem is they are also chasing M Pierce, I Folau for the 2014 season, we talk about back ended deals and how clever they are but wen these heavily back endeddeals come in 2014 they then will have already purchased a couple of more players, and im not including Inu's contract reverting back to $225000, and Perrett's back to $230000. Where and when does this shit end?

  • would anybody like to guesstimate what the dogs would be spending next year

  • THE DOGS  ARE DEFINATELY  BREACHING THE SALARY CAP , THERE IS NO QUESTION EXCEPT BY HOW MUCH !

THE NRL MUST AUDIT THE CLUB IMMEDIATELY AND PRIOR TO ANY NEW DEALS ON TV RIGHTS .

THE FACT IS THE CLUB HAS ALREADY COMMITTED TO SIGNINGS AND YOU CANNOT PRE EMPT WHAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE IN THE NEW TV DEAL .

THE DOGS  HAVE A STRONG AND RECENT HISTORY OF BREACHING THE SALARY CAP , ONLY WHEN THE NRL GROWS BALLS AND PUTS A STOP TO IT WILL IT BE USELESS FOR A CLUB TO BOTHER ATTEMPTING TO CHEAT THE COMPETITION.

BY MAKING A FIRM STANCE NOW AND MAKING AN EXAMPLE OF ANY CLUB THAT WANTS TO BREACH , THE NRL CAN PROVE TO THE FANS OF THIS WONDERFUL SPORT THAT IT IS A FAIR AND PROPER COMPETITION .

ANY TEAM THAT BREACHES THE CAP SHOULD LOSE ALL POINTS AND DEREGISTERED FOR ANY THIRD BREACH !

WE HAVE 16 TEAMS , AND WITH THAT IN MIND WE CAN ALWAYS REPLACE A CHEATING ENTITY !!!!

THE NRL MUST PROVE THEY ARE NOT A BUNCH OF QUASIES AND ACT NOW .

IT IS NOT WITHIN ANY CLUBS RIGHTS TO BREACH LEGISLATION AND OR THE SPORTING CODE OF CONDUCT.

    • Bahahahahahahahahahahahaha, what a load of dribble and absolute bollocks, max u sure know how to talk out of your arse, ur nothing but a fekking parasite, weak, jealous, envious scum.

As i have told u all before, enjoy the the rise of the bulldogs, this is only the tip of the iceberg, A dynasty is going to take place out belmore way, and us Bulldogs fans will love every second of it.

  • Tony Bara u tripple chinned fekkin donkey, why are u so jealous of this successful powerhouse club of Sydney known as the Canterbury Bulldogs.

Bara u muppet, the reporters arent getting involved as Greenberg the mesiah and unkie Des know how to play the media  from all angles, they basically run this s h i t.........

PS Roy Masters only last week wrote an article very much favourable to the bulldogs and especially unkie Des, somehow i dont think Roy will be digging at the Dogs anytime soon.

"Sanders defence in the halves is actually better than Hands. NSW Cup stats would back this statement up as well. Hands is actually a poor defender in the halves. He is barely cup quality in cup. Hands is an out and out hooker in my opnion."
