Moving onto tigers next week I do expect a better effort from the group. Roster wise we are probably the weakest in the comp and without Moses that's going to be even more evident.

We got blown away in the first half but what did people expect lots of first gamers and young guys up against a full strength storm they looked better in the second half I think given time they will improve but I think patients is needed it's a rebuild season and we have injuries
We can beat the Tigers but it will depend on Ryles as a coach.
He needs to show that a loss like that is unexceptionable and name and shame some of these players starting with the captain during the video review.
If we are 3 and 4 after 7 rounds and then the bye with our full team back on the park for the next third of the season that will be something to build on.
We can beat Tigers x2, Saints and maybe the Dogs but we need to show some heart and some pride in the jersey going forward

I wanted Madge but once that didn't happen I have tried to get behind Ryles.
All I want for now is some accountability for that performance.
He can't do a BA and trot out the same team next week after what we saw today
The question is how many of the problems can Ryles address in a week?
1) right edge defense was woeful. Volkman and Tuilagi should never defend next to each other for the rest of their lives. Will Hawkins be better? Who replaces Tuilagi (should be dropped)?
2) the props were ineffective either side of the ball. Can Paulo and Ofa run with more venom, tackle with more gusto?
3) team completely failed to slow down the ruck. if Ryles could not get it going with months to spare over offseason, what does he do?
4) Wade first stint he was a grandma getting off ground in tackle, and Smith ran out of steam. Carry a backup hooker or ask J Papalili to be more creative and dangerous from 14 at dummy half?
5) Brown went missing. Present him the Knights' offer and remind him he is not a $1.3 million player because he doesn't take control of the team, but can be much better as a 5/8
6) Penisini and Tago defender like the hoped play did not come their way. Change at least one?
7) Eels ran one out from their own line so what has changed from BA? The conservatism might be suit a team lacking handling skills, like the Eels, but still won't trouble defensive units, who can load 3-up on runners off out line
The Forwards were not there, so many simple mistakes, the storm didnt need towash there jersey.
They have gone back on that perforamnce after BA.

WTF was that? We have managed to be worse under the new coach. You expect another season of that? Might be time to start thinking about member refunds for that disgraceful performance. And Ryles said there was some good bits of the game, and he takes responsibility. If he keeps saying that and dishing that up, he won't make round 26. The body language said it all in the first 40 minutes, they were not interested or motivated and looked like 4 years old running trying to catch balloons instead of playing NRL.
