I wonder if they'll just take matto 🤣
we are front ending contracts as it is, plenty of money available
spent it and browns on who, certainly not pezet or kelly
I agree we should have plenty but there's some of it right there. Plus upgrades to the '25 rookies and others, bringing development players and others into the top 30 and front loading as stated.
We have 27 or 28 players on our top 30 list already (NRL.com.au) and I do not think we are holding a big reserve, just in case, due to mandatory minimum cap spend requirements.

Kelly makes 28 top 30 according to tct.
Yeah NRL has Richie P listed but no year noted.

Again i would take Howarth and a decent junior. But i would love to see him move into an edge spot during 2026. Only concern is Melbourne fans stating he is not physical enough and if Melbourne have not moved him yet despite his defence being great at Centre, why? There is Katoa and Blore as possibly the reason i guess but why sign Oryn Keely?
Looks pretty physical in the footage Ive seen.
Depth and Katoa is out for potentially a year.
If Melbourne are serious about moving on a kid that they've developed from nothing id say there mad.
If I were Melbourne I'd sitback and wait and see how court proceedings go I'm not breaking up my youngsters and development for Lomax that's how losers operate. They've put years into Howarth and he's a good player.
In saying this it's a quiet time of the year these reporters can just throw shit at the wall to see what sticks without any consequences so why not.
