"Would've made him shave it off turning up to pre season like that. Smith would be licking his lips"
"TDS is still young, with plenty of improvement left in him. He could still play Flegg in 2026 ffs. And despite being two years younger than Ryley Smith, he has played nine more NRL games."
"So if you don't rate him why put him in lower grades for time? If you don't rate him time in lower grades won't matter."
"HFK, Fair point. Sure, we could. But balancing incoming youth with experience is almost a perennial issue. A constant cycle. It never really goes away. At least not for too long. "

He said he had not spoken to semi but had spoken to his manager and there's where semis problems begin. He needs to speak for himself some times as his manager wont always put semis interest in front of his own. Speaks well does Gurr handles the media very well. I like the cut of his jib.
What a difference an actual professional can make, just a bit of difference between Bernie and look at me Seward and John Bullshit Boulos.
First time in a long time an interview with our CEO that hasn't made me cringe.
Another point to make, is he is fronting the media. No one previously did - BA was stuck doing it.
Bernie Gurr is a consummate professional, and it's incredibly uplifting to see our club being controlled by this man.
The consummate professional, exactly what our club needed. Controlled and measured, oh how we have wasted so many years being run by 2 bit operators with personal agenda's.
Good no bullshit tone from Bernie, i like the way he carried himself in that, there was a pause when asked 'do you fully support Semi?' he's obviously leaving all avenues open and can't do much till Febuary.
Id give him a pretty high score for that interview, well done Bernie.
