LOSSES: L. Patten, Y.Gordon, J.Hickey, D.Williams, C. Armit, B. Hannant, B.Kimmorley....

I guess Patten Hannant Kimmorley were on big coin, the others were fringe players yet the Kennel supporters are adamant  Hickey was on 250k!, But damn they will look good next year!

    At least the doggies supporters get value for their team. We will have a $3.4mil team next year playing against everyone else with their $4.2mil teams that pretty much puts us on the back foot from square one. (But GOD I hope I am wrong)

    most of the players leaving were probably on back ended contracts - so they've probably got big $$$ to spend. Plus i'm sure Greenburg would have 3rd party deals for the big signings. if only our CEO was as intelligent.

    While I think there's no way theycan spend this much without somehow rorting the cap, Greenburg did say that this is the biggest recruitment drive they will be doing over the next few years.

    Too f@cking right! Our 2010 team was littered with the most gifted stars and huge new signings and we were nothing short of abysmal. As I've said before - Horo was our best this year and what was he on, $80K? He shamed blokes on five, six times more. It's the size of the heart, not the paypacket.

    They are buying smart, they have a good plan in place and will be big improvers next year and will give the comp a shake. For mine 2012 will be their year.
