Watching last nights game made me think how lucky the dogs were not getting a player sin binned for blatantly pushing a player in the back and I am betting Kasiano escapes with the bare minimum for kicking and Rona escapes referee touching like they do everything else.
I was then thinking how 'lucky' it was for the Bulldogs to not be given any further Sunday games since round 12 so Hopoate hasn't had to miss many games.
I looked back through their draw for the year and noted how the Dogs were also fortunate enough to get to play 4 of their 'away' games at ANZ and another one at Alliance.
Anyway wasn't it nice to see josh Jackson re sign for another four years with them. Would have been terrible to see them lose one of their rep players after all they only have the Morris boys (who St George could not match the offers from the Dogs for) James Graham, Kasiano, Eastwood, Klemmer, Tolman, Tony Williams, Rona, hopoate, Reynolds, Mbye and Lichha to pay for. Wonder if any of their wives run a 'carpentry business?'
Must be nice to have friends in high places.
The one consolation is their halves and hooker are so poor they have no chance of winning this year.

Yep, the board minute quote thats says it all really.
Why are so many people surprised. The NRL commission do whatever they want to get the results they want. The Bunker, Refs & judiciary are all there to assist them in achieving this. If a coach or club speak up they are fined, If the fans speak up no one listens. They are no different than the Eels board that was removed, They cheat to get the results they want, End of story. Sandor Earl stood down for 2 years - Sharks players using the same drugs supplied by the same guy & non of them miss a game, James Robert's video taking drugs, Video vanishes, James Robert's drunk episode last week, NOTHING. The list go's on and this is just the stuff we can see. Imagine how much has been hidden.
Does anybody else think to Dogs will only make up the numbers in the finals?
It looked a deliberate and dirty act from Kasiano and that was the view of the commentators as well to a man. The failure of the officials to act on it made for a spiteful period from both sides from there on and had someone been hurt it would have been on their heads. The officials needed to calm things down and only managed that by awarding a penalty in the last minute.
Although I didn't see a replay I thought that Klemmer lead with his knee when taking the ball up not long after the Kasiano/Parker incident. But as with the repeat tripper Reynolds nothing will come of it.
