          • LOL .....your passion is wonderful Bluey.....BUT the game keeps going strength to strength.....Parra is heading there! slowly .....no wait faster! ....just not fast enough yet! LOL again.

Enjoy the pain Bluey, just think how horrible it would be winning every week and getting worried about eventually losing one.Β

PS I just got out of hospital from a reverse shoulder replacement.....the pain was supposed to be excruitiating for the first week, I had zero and they wanted to know why.....it was simple i told them I was a Parra supporter and they nodded their heads wisely......

Other times I can socially go to a function and say I bet I can make you feel sorry for me....I'm a Parramatta supporter, more wise nodding!

Would you really want it any other way?

Don't worry I am predicting we win the minor premiership next season but am refraining from saying we will win the competition...... be silly being overconfident Now! would it not!!!

          • Your right nrl like many sports has become very structured overly so left and right halves are just a damning sign of what you mention also. The grubbers into the ingoal with 7 tackle sets have basically rendered halves scared for the most part to execute it.

Im with you the game is very copy and that's what I fear with us I don't think we have a game plan to beat the best and there's no way in hell we'll out play a Melbourne or Penrith at there game.Catch 22 I think.

  • What is he sayiing that is not true? Toughen the f up..we have under acheived for years....

  • I have replied on this already but Ritchie's title suggest Ryles' form of late where many are saying there is promise for the future is a lie. Yet Canterbury in 2023 had similar talk around them, had bigger signings with Burton and Mahoney, Gould and had 7 wins that year too. I am not saying he is wrong, not completely i said that. Not saying we become Dogs either, we just don't know but i am saying clubs have been talked about like this before doesn't mean it is the case.Β

    • His article actually has some good points but the title is just click bait, says in the article they may be good eventually then just rattles on about results from this season v top sides πŸ˜‚

  • Eels fans as always learn that hard way , Parramatta has more Advantages than any other club in nsw yet we have a board and CEO who are clueless in how to take advantage of it .Β  We people on the board who put their hand up to be on the board just so they can put on their CV that they are a board member of a NRL club , they have zero to offer in terms of making the club successful . We a CEO , head of football and members of the board that other club would want .Β

    Β

Parramatta are in that heart of the 2nd largest CBD in nsw that houses $9b worth of property developers and construction companies yet people which run Parramatta have zero idea how to take advantage of it, so because of the uselessness of the CEO and a board Parramatta aren't a attractive club for players .Β

  • First point - stop posting direct copy from the Daily Teleghraph! This material is subject to copyright and will simply get Super into trouble.

Second point - whilst it would be wonderful to sign all the big names that are constantly linked with the usual suspects, it will result in us losing players we want to keep. This is why we lost Blaize and Ethan Sanders.

The fact that the Bulldogs are being linked to a $1.2m player in Tino is a clear demonstration that they are not playing by the rules and will suffer the consequences if caught.Β

    • Players being offered.property deals and off field opportunities by people who have no official link with theΒ  dogs is very much playing within the rules .

      • That is very true.

However, how many businesses can you think of that are prepared to offer property deals and off field opportunities that have no quid pro quo, or an ability to link these opportunities with the Bulldogs as a club? Because any nexus between the Bulldogs as a club and the TPA is against the rules.

I have particular suspicions on this front noting that the Bulldogs' major sponsor is a large hospitality provider!

Personally, I rather the whole TPA arrangement allow for players to obtain benefit for advertising products and services of sponsors of clubs. It would take out so much of the suspicion around the compliance of TPAs.

    • Damn didn't know that, will stop posting those πŸ˜‚
