Brown to Warriors Rumour No2

Taken from Talking Parra Podcast.

Received some news last night that Dylan Brown will not take on his player option to renew his contract after the 2025 season.

It’s is believe that Dylan is looking to sign for the Warriors from the 2026 season but may be looking to get a release from the club as soon as possible.

i brought you this info 6wks ago....things aren't looking good, and the way he's playing suggests this also.12646645273?profile=RESIZE_710x

  • If true, wonder if it isn't too late to get Sanders to stay

    • Was thinking that too, Canberra situation not great for him either. They won't move Strange from 6 and Fogarty still has another 2-3 years left.

Doesnt want to move from family there you go surely.

  • I think it's probably in the best interest of both parties,  Brown and the Eels,  that they part ways. The eels simply aren't getting enough consistently from Brown for what they are paying him and he doesn't seem happy.

Move talagi or gutho to 6 or maybe even make a play for Galvin.

    • I think Gutho to 6 works very well.

    • Gutho to 6 is a great idea

gosh ain't it lucky we've got lomax coming

    • Are you serious? From a normally rational poster I think that's a crazy position.

As long as we have Brown and Moses in the halves we are at least a chance of configuring this side into a competitive roster with the obvious additions of some backline firepower. You start losing those players then we really are in trouble.

Talagi can't tackle yet and you want him to defend at 6 - good luck with that

      • I think Talagi to 1 is inevitable or Lomax to 1. Gutho to 6 can work or if by some miracle we can keep Sanders.

      • Moses yeah, Brown , nah .   Plenty of players on half his money that can play a more valuable role at 5/8 with Moses.  We have other areas we need to invest his coin in.  We have tried the 2 big dollar halves approach and it just don't work. No club can afford two players on huge money unless they're turning up for 80 mins every week to subsidise where we are missing strike elsewhere.

        • Agree, two years ago Brown on par as the best 5/8 in the comp behind Munster, Throw in last years antics and this year was given the golden opportunity to step up and move out of Moses shadow, he has gone backwards.

If he wants to go then so be it.

      • I have been one of browns biggest supporters on this site but I'm fed up with his inconsistent performance,  take last night for instance,  did absolutely nothing in the first have but then to start the 2nd half he was near unstoppable for 20 minutes then disappeared again.  With browns playing at or near his best every week there is no way I would be suggesting this but over the years he has consistently gone missing for 4-5 week stretches and he just doesn't seem happy.  You can't afford to carry a player on his coin.
