  • Staggs would be an unbelievable pick-up but I doubt the Broncos would let him go.

  • I'd go after staggs and Joe Ofa if the prices are right

  • We need props and both Joe and Flegler would be great at the right price. Flegler goes well next to a big prop and gets good post contact metres.

Staggs would be great but we have a full set of backs. Who gets dropped? None of them would want a year on the sidelines. Sivo and Waqa could use a spell in reserves to practice the finer points but I doubt they would accept that.

      • Rubbish the Roosters would be paying them Morris Twins shit. On paper yes, but we all know the Roosters can get anyone they want and there is a reason for that!

          • My apologies.  Both rep players and still in good form as much as you might like to water it down. I have it all wrong. Just amazing how the Roosters seem to be able to attract anyone that they want for values far less than the NRL places on others for other teams, like the Folau debarcle.  Almost a total rep side Frankie but apparently they must all be past their best?   Cooper Cronk must have been past his best  when recruited from the Storm, whilst the squad manages to retain Boyd Cordner,  James Tedesco ( arguably the best player in the game), JWH ( International ), Angus Chrighton seen as  the next big thing and a long list of others.  Roosters are not playing under the same rules as other teams. You know it, I know it, and do do many others.

            • I think Roosters are weakened substantially when Morris boys are out. One of them (Brett?) has killer never say die attitude and instincts. Great pickups together for Roosters.  The scariest backs are Storms 3 speedsters.

      • Fergo was probably the best winger in comp when he signed for Eels. Charlie Steines is another one 6 tries in 1 and a quarter games. Is he good or was it the kicks and passes he got from inside players. How do you know his worth? Still injured as well. Could put that down to no reggies and not being fit.

  • Gee the Bulldogs are gonna be strong next year.

    • Agree! Bulldogs will make the top 4 next year depending on how Barrett goes as the coach.

      • Geez Monts you've gone off early on Barrett, I wish him well but his record as a head coach is shithouse by any standard, plus he's walking into a club with a toxic and divided board. Have a look at his record especially his defensive record as a head coach....I'm glad he isn't coaching Parra is all I'll say.
