The good old days, notice the lack of women on the hill in the crowd, back when RL was for men, its been watered down and dumbed down for the fairer sex these days, very sad.
Best view when your standing on a milk crate lol
Them was the days mate!
Great, better seats for me sucker
I had to look twice when I saw that Photo.
The tall bloke in the '86 vintage Hardiflex #3 jersey is me. The bloke to my right in the yellow cap is my best mate and fellow 1EE member Mattas Mattas. I just called him and he agreed it's deff us, no doubt about it. Unbelievable.
Check out my sweet mullet !!!
lol, sorry, left :)
It's really me mate. No bullshite. I'm gorgeous hey :)
I'm not 100% sure but my dad got me that jersey. He worked for Hardies and it was an actual team jumper (made by Canterbury) and had all the propper sponsorship including 2WS on the sleves - pretty rare back then. He got it for me in about june '86 so I reckon the shot was taken in late '86 or maybe '87.
You don't cultivate a mullet like that without living the life it deserves. Thats a party out the back for sure mate.
LOL :)
Lol, nah i'm legit mate. Swear on my kids.
I've saved the pic i'm getting a high quality print to stick in my office.
What are the odds.
Those were the days mate. Brand new stadium and a shit hot footy team full of blokes that the community rightfully idolised. Look at that crowd - how times have changed..
And I still go to the footy with the fella on my left - although there's 5 of us now and we have season tickets. we've been going for over 30 years. In this pic i'm about 18, and he's 21. My kids are 27 and 22, his are 30 and 28. Time flies :)
