Brian Smith exploited Jarryd's poor positional play. He also exploited the slowness within our team and in particular, our backs. He targeted our vulnerable defence by utilising long passes to stretch our defensive line.
Fingers crossed future opposition cannot execute this blueprint as well as the Roosters.
What really bugs me is the slowness in which we execute our plays, the play the ball and the overall speed of the team. Further, why don't we run into holes or run angles when in attack and finally....what is Luke Burt offering the team?

Thanked him for turning our joint around and congratulated him on an outstanding performance.
Nothing less than they deserve either. It was an excellent performace to watch (shame it was against the eels).
I truly believe this loss is going to hurt us in future games.
Further, sadly I cannot make it to home games so I can only make my comments based on TV. So my question is........... Is there much speed in this team?.....They look slow to me compared to others.
Their first try was due to a defensive error from Robson - which is a rarity. Brought about by a quick spread from Carney to Minichello to the tryscore Aubusson.
The loss will hurt us in two ways, firstly, on 'for-and-against' and secondly it might derail the confident momentum we had been building. Another tough game this weekend so I guess time will tell.
This is an Eels SUPPORTERS website, if your not going to support your team, then PISS OFF!!
These blokes play in the NRL because they are highly gifted, physical athletes. Very few people are able to perform as they do. As with any profession or occupation, if your not performing, questions will inevitably be asked. It remains the purview of supporters to question their team from time to time, however, I agree that some of the criticisms are pretty lame.
