Brad Murray

Sterlo just announced that Murray (Roosters NYC halfback) has agreed to terms with the eels.

-Scone junior

-Originally a Bulldog

I have only seen him play once (against us) and he carved us, so checked the LU forums and the majority of good judges have him as their NYC half of the season and overall one of the form players of the season

And he saved a bloke from drowning last year

  • wow he is a class half... that would be a good pick up!!
  • Goal kicker too........His stats impressive as he seems to be a genuine playmaker with all the try assists and line break assists. Only concern i have is the 20's comp isn't as strong as it use to be,
  • Would lead me to think we're going to grant Jeff Robson his release. He graduates from NYC this year, so its a senior side signing.
  • if all hig profile deals fall through, will this guy be good enough to play in the number 7 jersey week in ,week out?
  • Excellent signing... if we miss Quade this bloke had the potential to lead the side. A very very good player !.. very happy
  • Potentially it seems that way.......but with where the first grade side is at the moment automatic results are needed.
  • He was supposedly the Sharks back-up option if they failed to get Kimmorley....
  • Risky move i.e. Robson as we know what he can offer us, but with the depth that we have in the halves for next season then it does make sense. Funny that 2 weeks ago our half situation looked dire yet now we have the option of releasing Robson.

    Senior halves 2011

    Mortimer
    Humble
    Murray
    Cross
Plus our major signing of a half, whether it be Cooper or another experienced half.
  • so, this could mean we can put a line through noddy?

I reallyyy want Quade Cooper, i know this will drag on for weeks until he finally resigns with the ARU , but we need to pull out all the stocks to get this guy!
  • Poor sharkies fans.

Hopefully that finally rules us out as Kimmorelys retirement home.

"The chances of him being our 6 next year are very low, if he was a serious consideration he would be playing 6 now with dylan at centre. I'll be very surprised if he is our starting 6 next season unless he gets a lot more time there this season. "

"I think Joash is a good player, but from what I've seen only at fullback or on the wing. Those positions we've got pretty well covered, so I guess he's a great back up option. I'd like to see him in 1st grade, but I dont know how he fits in?"
