  there was a slight comment in the Daily Telegraph

    Honestly, I don't know how they can get away with publishing such crap. Feleti was offered shit money because the powers that be didn't particularly want him at the club and certainly weren't going to get into a bidding war over him. He's signed a contract with the Warriors and it would be near impossible for him to get out of it.

  Yeah I agree 1Eyed. That article read like something out of New Idea. I wouldn't believe a word of it. I'm not sure whether Mateo was wanted or not, but the fact is he was offered a lot more money to go to the Warriors than the Eels were prepared to pay. He's going. End of story.

    The nrl doesnt register next season contracts till round 13 of the season. This year its been put back till round 17 to allow all clubs to adjust to the new salary cap rules.
