Both Tuivaiti and Tuilagi out, who replaces them?

What was our strongest part of our team is now getting slimmer. With Tuilagi and Tuivaiti out, who do we see coming in for the week?

More likely we see Williams stay in the middle and Guymer moves to an edge. Then the two bench spots for Tuivaiti and Guymer would more likely be taken up by de Belin and Brown. Not sure if someone like Jezaiah Funa-Iuta will be ready either.

So Russell for Nanva is one change. De Belin will get Tuivaiti's spot more likely. So who replaces Tuilagi?

                • Renzo is signed till end of 2028. Only on dev deal 2026 & 2027. 2028 is top 30. His contract can always be upgraded anyway.

            • He's not Macy hence why Pezet walked straight in there.

What we really need is either a proper answer on the open market or a junior to have a really big off season and make the position his in the mentioned period.

EA would no more than anyone about the latter.

But it just feels to me that there's a huge disconnect in the recruitment and development stakes they are nowhere close together.Alignment was a popular word in the off-season well I'll use misaligned because that's what the club feels like right now.

Injuries have exposed us and no one could have foreseen how many we've had put but the players we've lost vs what we've added is just night and day in the wrong direction talent wise and I don't care who the coach is that is like chopping a coach at the knees with regards to the mentioned. How is JR to fix this he can't.

R and R needed to be making moves now not tomorrow not next week next month right now.

  • Teancum Brown onto the bench, Moretti to start, Williams to one edge, Guymer to the other.

    • Super, I thought 1EE banned politics but "the club did it" is every second comment. Boring and incoherent politicking

  • i thought nanva was one of our better players and surely keeps a role? maybe cause he is not top 30 he by default is fuirst out. I would be putting kelly in nsw cup, offers nothign but brain explosions and keep nanva on wing with russell at centre. Williams to back row, where i think he goes best and maybe debellin to front row. Moretti and Brown maybe to bench spots. Katonga may struggle as well as it appeared that he was hooked mid game too?

Ryley smith didnt come back on either so wonder if he has an injury as well or he was one of the referenced players who made bad decisions as de silva played most of that game. Id be ok with guymer to lock with walker back to the bench where he was most effective.

    • Do we have a y players in the club with mongrel? Specifically in the middle? Jack needs to move to the edge asap. His not a middle. I would keep araz. I notice he got his arms free most takles.
