Absolutely brutal scenes and a tragic day for Sydney and Australia. Been watching the live news for a while and amid all the horror, there's been some amazing heroics from many everyday citizens and from the police force that took the gunmen down.
That hero who disarmed one of them is was outstandingly brave. Acting on his own, with safer options calling, he acted.
The worst and the best of people was on display today.
