  • Did they have a roast too?

  • Even if its just a ploy by Isaac Moses to raise Talagi's price tag, this will be something hard for Talagi to turn down.

On anothe note. The club really need to start banning Isaa Moses like other clubs.

    • I think he has too many coaches / assistant coaches and players in all grades to ban him from anywhere.

    • Damn feels like I'm back in Patong or Pattaya the way this Talagi family has been shopped around.

If they don't want to play for the club, they can go sell themselves somewhere else. I'd rather have a player who wants to wear the jersey with pride.

      • Good point Zip. This is where the club and Ryles need to sort who we want and why. Club culture is abt playing for the club. We need to draw a line and that's it.

  • Analyst, having some inside knowledge of the Blaize situation, how confident are you he & his brother will stay at the Eels, now? You "were" fairy confident.

Our Pathways often seems to be a nursery ground for other clubs;  often more of a stepping stone to greener pastures.

  • Fk em off

  • This one is more concerning than St George or Newcastle. I agree Isaac Moses is killing us with his games with Moses and Gutho and now Blaize. Look at how much hate Gutho copped from fans after last contract. I know people have been critical of the Brown contract but I don't think it is as bad as we think. There was a lot of uncertainty around whether the salary cap was going to increase over the coming years which was always going to make things hard for the club to lock him down long term. Did Parra get him signed for at least 2 years? Yes . As for the options for DB moving forward, he has to be playing well to renegotiate his salary or attract interest from other clubs therefore we need to look at the options as somewhat an incentive program. We also need to take into account that DB signed quickly without much fuss compared to the Gutho and Moses situation. There's no reason why DB won't stay with us if we are winning and he is playing well. It's up to Ryles and the club now

Before diving in, it's important to acknowledge where we currently sit on the ladder. We must acknowledge as fans that our position is far from ideal nor acceptable, however, we must also consider the challenges we've faced throughout the early part…
