Nothing in it. He wants to stay but Penrith yet to negotiate and he is free to talk on November 1. This is how Penrith operate with certain players. Let Blaize test his market then offer accordingly. They won't go and overpay if they are not sure. Why pay Blaize $800k a year when his best offer is $600k? As an example.
The premise of this has been threatening, if you want to look at any weaknesses that Penrith may have, look no further than Blaize...... now keep some perspective, he is a competent player that has been sensationally well handled by the Cleary's, it is just a case of do they keep perservering with him.
We do not need him regardless of his connections, if he had a future anywhere I think he could be a good halfback, his vision is fine and he reads numbers, he most certainly will not have the cleanup patrol covering his arse at Parra. Becoming a halfback (7) would need a whole revamping of his game notwithstanding and Parra is not in that market.
We were too spoilt with Dylan Browns defensive abilities. He did a huge amount of cleanup work and has made everyone who follows in his footsteps have big shoes to fill.
He's just going to test his market value - the Panthers always do this with players where they know it'll work in their favour (eg when the market isn't red hot for that player). He'll test the market, get lukewarm interest and then the Panthers will say "See, told you so, now kindly accept our appropriate offer." Worst case he leaves on overs, not a terrible outcomes given he's not exactly pivotal to the Panthers setup.
Smart approach by the Panthers honestly. They always seem to have multiple plans in place from an R&R perspective.
For 6 he offered no long or short kicking game, can't defend in the line, has no speed. I am really unsure why they are persisting with him at 6. He is probably a centre at best but again would be one of the slowest in the comp in both positions. You could fill him in with their cup 6 and get the same results.

"Adam, Thanks for this blog and sharing this great interview with Peter O'Sullivan. Really enjoyed it.
Coryn, personally, although I respect him, I'm not a believer in Miracle Messiah saviours unless it's a big-shot multi-billionaire Parra Person who…"

I would have a crack but it's a wait and see.
I think penrith will bring jett back to play with nathan.
No thanks offered him everything to stay when JR first joined and still left prefer Joash at least he loves the club and wants to be an eel
Nah. Still can defend and hasn't shown anything amazing
Last thing we need is a 5/8 who can't tackle.

Still having defensive issues 2 years into a Penrith system is a bit of a worry
