Tin foil hate theory. But i believe doctors have thought Round 7. Everyone at the club thought Round 7. But also decided to take precautions with a bye coming up and thought why not just make sure he is 110% and take advantage of the bye. If he is to miss Round 7, it will be Ryles and the staff being precautious not that he is not cleared to return.
Which is fine by me. He needs to play all of our remaining games apart from Origin maybe.
Moses in - Lomax out.. our club is cursed!!
Then we will lose both for origin most likely . We won't even get a chance to put things on track this year .
We have one Origin effected game. V Manly who have no DCE for that game.
Well that's something positive. Although Manly without DCE is nothing in comparison to us without Moses. Then we have the obligatory Moses post representive injury.
But yeah, that's something pretty good for us I didn't realise with the Origin draw.
I don't think they will put Mitch into Origin 1. They have Cleary and Luai to slot in. Lomax will just need to be back to play, so we'll probably lose him.
We are not cursed, seriously some people are just over dramatic. Souths have had a way worse run of injuries than us. Cursed would be ACL injuries to both.
It's a contact sport, injuries happen. Penrith had Cleary miss most of the last two seasons, they had the team and depth to overcome it. Injuries happen just because two of our best players get minor injuries does not mean cursed.
Same with people who claimed Moses is now injury prone after missing most of 2024, then sitting out the start of this year for the same injury. Other than that he has only had a few small injuries here and there. Gives our depth a good chance to stake their claim.
Right, when was the last big massive season ending injury we got before a season started? From 2019-22 we had our players most of the time. Only time was 2020 where we had Jennings pulled last minute and Fergo was out too.
For us to be cursed, career ending injuries need to be mentioned. Even constant serious injuries that season ending. We have had times where a big name was out for a finals game or getting close to finals but clubs have that in the NRL. I would put a bit down to ineptness more than cursed for our troubles.
