  • Ryles firming as favourite, unless Trent Barrett has some magic dust and leads them to the finals

    • Yep, and from the same school as Craig Fitzgibbon.

    • The decision will be made before then and I really don't see Barrett being a chance,  he will be gone too at seasons end.

  • What do I get for Blake green?

that's the name I been hearing and on nrl 360 that old fart buzz when questioned first name he said was Blake green. Gordy was saying everything we want to hear and how parra will be Wayne's choice kowing Wayne but buzz kept telling him that it's not going to happen, and then he said what if they do what the warriors and dogs did and go for an up and coming coach and when they asked who first name was Blake green. I think the old prick has been told and he is drip feeding little hints

Like most people I want Bennett and didn't even know green was coaching

    • Interesting, coaching Newcastle ladies team?

      • Lol I didn't even know he was coaching when I heard it and had to google it myself to check where he was coaching

    • I highly doubt it will be green, he has very little experience being assistant coach at the knights,  too much of a risk.

      • Don't disagree with you at all, I have no idea and we know last time we tried an unproven assitant coach how that turned out 😩

        • I actually know blake from his junior days, nice bloke but I wouldn't give him the head coaching job at the eels with his limited experience as a coach,  maybe in a few years when he has some runs on the board.

    • Blake Green managed by Isaac Moses

"Fletcher is still very highly rated. But his stress fracture means he's starting this year in SG Ball, whereas Lorenzo could quite easily be starting in NSW Cup. That gives him a jump on first grade. Club wants to keep both and are planning pathways…"

EA replied to LB's discussion Parramatta Eels selection questions for 2026: Changing plans, outside backs and new signings
"I think it's simply Lorenzo is suited to be a 6 while Fletcher is more suited to the 7 jersey. Normally a 7 is a better player overall than a 6.
Fletcher could fill in at 6 if needed"

"I think that is pretty much spot on, perhaps Moretti on the bench somewhere but that is Round 1 lineup as of now."

"Though Badger, if you let Parra pick a position they wanted from a trade for Lomax they are taking a middle forward as that seems to be the area they want covered most. That Paulo replacement."
