Ben Rogers axed another one gone

Hearing from my good friend Avenger from League unlimited, who always has the good goss,  that the great Ben Rogers was let go last week.   One half of the dynamic duo in Rodgers + O'neill,  and the three stooges including Sarantinos.

Goodbye Ben .  He's finished

Mon -  i can't see him being here much longer.  He's the last of the Monicans.

              • Your do realise your making to much sense for the simpletons.

                • Tim Tim you wouldn't even get into.the Simpletons club. Probably wouldn't graduate from a club or two below them.

              • 31278315466?profile=RESIZE_930x

                • S&C is MONs responsibility, no matter if Ryles put Matty Jay forward, we have gone backwards.

                  • You could be the best CEO in the world but if you have a staff member fcuk up, the "buck" stops with you......many good people have resigned in that position.

Using the S&C as an example you may find that Rush or Beach, preferably Beach at this stage could have a small internal investigation of his employment (S&C).

Proviso.....is if they are like minded to clear up the area's of dysfunction or just cut the cancer.

In management the question of dysfunction maybe who is not responsible at the end but who caused the dysfunction.....sometimes that can be very embarrassing for someone and the matter get's cleaned/covered  up.....Rogers gone??

                  • While MON oversees the logistics, salaries, and contracting process, no Head Coach in the modern NRL, especially a new appointment like Ryles, has S&C or high-performance staff forced on them. Ryles selects the performance staff he wants to run his program, and MON's role is to negotiate and execute the contracts within the football department budget.

MON oversees it, he would sign off on it, he would also sign off on the assistants that Ryles hired. Mark Russell would have been signed off by MON. Doesn't mean MON was responsible in the hiring of Russell.

                • I am not disagreeing with what you are saying Gucci, but many of these job descriptions are set up for a perfect world. Operationally it could be a lot different e.g. When Bernie Gurr was CEO he would have had all the smarts to be a final judge in matters which I suspect over time changed considerably by attrition and changes of personell.

BA and Mon alledgedly head butted regularly and knowing BA he would have resented that power applied to MON. That said when Saratinos took over he had a primary goal of getting the place financially in order and would have found it difficult when BA and MON wanted/had respective differences. His priorities was getting the functionality of the place working and thinking that between them MON and BA had the playing side in place. Up untill 2021 that was probably right but BA fluked the 2022 GF and that was his reprieve.

The subsequences we have now witnessed are now catching up and bring us to todays position.

I believe that Saratinos's resignation this year was built of the back of those issues and due credit to Saratinos he walked with the deal. i.e. he could simply have sacked MON but obviously did not see that in the best interests....hence the arrival of Rush.

              • Thats incorrect LB. The ceo has the final say as Ryles and O'neill report to him.  Its like saying a manager has the final say at Tesla, which he doesn't

Ryles has a major say, but not the final say.  Rush will now have the final say as did Sarantinos

                • Your response is typical of a bureaucrat Chiefy......that's why bureaucrats are such an ineffective mode of government. Rather than find the area, find the cause and eliminate that!

                  • And thats why Sarantinos and the rest of the three stooges will be no longer at Kellyville .

So close to a decade isn't enough time plopp.   Pops says give them another 10 just to be sure 😂😂😂
