Thank God we missed him. Good footballer but not worth the reported money we were offering

  The bigger concern is that we reportedly offered him what we did and he still said "no thanks".
  
  The fact that money still isn't getting people across the line speaks to bigger problems with R&R.

good that we didn't sign him but it is a worry that players aren't signing with us . Galvin ; keoan , Barnett. Even with our offers be higher and more years

Glad we didn't sign him.

Keaon was the signing to make, he wanted an extra year but we didn't give it to him.

Whether you think signing him or not is a good or bad thing isn't the point.
Here we have yet another player that we clearly wanted to sign and they turned us down. In this case we offered more money, are closer to his family in Taree and he still said no.
Name one player who has been sort after by other clubs and we were successful in getting their signature. The Eels can only sign players no other club wants.

  I know right, we offered him a 100k more and an extra year, not as an option and we still couldn't land him. I'm alright with not signing this player but far out the Eels can't sign anyone for shit. We also need like 2 extra backline players

    It also looks like they are entering the desperate stage for the signings as they offered him overs so the next player that might come along the Eels will give him a huge offer if they are great
