Because Simonsson wants a wing spot, that was the reason why he was upset. Why else would he suddenly want to stay?
That tail wagging the dog logic doesn't stack. Probably not even a whiff. The exact opposite is likely the case, based on every bit of evidence to date in the Ryles era.
