BRAD Arthur must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

The Eels coach angrily batted away questions about his club’s recruitment strategy as his side prepares to bounce back from a crushing two-point loss that would have given them three straight wins.

Arthur, whose Eels are 2-7 coming into Round 10’s match against western Sydney rivals Canterbury, had very little patience for queries about any potential interest in off-contract winger Josh Mansour and Israel Folau.

  • sharks, not the chooks mate, but brad arthur is sure cranky.. and did walk out.. no mr nice guy./

  • Lol why are they surprised, how many times can the guy say no and they keep asking? I'd get the shits and leave too. Surely they know even if we are after them he can't just come out and say "Yeah mate we're definitely trying to sign these blokes".

  • most in this site are mad parra fans, but its time to say how can parra win at least 12 games from whats left, it does seem parra season is over sadly.. no wonder brad is upset.

  • First sign of pressure

    • First sign of pressure? The journo repeatedly asked Folau after BA said he's not discussing recruitment and he hasn't spoken to Folau, nor is he interested at all. That journo then continued to ask about Folau.
