Puts Galvin in the box seat if he wants an enormous payday and being the number 1 man. Not sure it would do his career much good but he'd earn overs for sure.
"Though the report is mixed as it says we were keen but is off to a rival as they offered a 3 year deal. Wouldn't they say Parra offered a 3 year deal?
Now let's say we didn't get him, bit rough there lol but hey he took 3 year deal good on him, if…"
"Agree for a stop gap measure until we have our Juniors ready or some good calibre back rower comes along.

Even more reason to get Galvin and any good juniors signed to decent deals asap

The only good thing is the Bears don't come in until 28 and Galvin's contract finishes in 26.
In saying that he will be hopefully with us in 2026 or earlier and tie him up for 4 years plus
The story said the Bears will be playing in to 2027 NRL competition?
Sorry I thought it was 28
Very much doubt Galvin wants to be coached by BA, but money does strange things.
Absolutely Jason. Was just thinking players like Sam Tuivaiti who is getting done, Ryley Smith, get Lachlan Galvin all long term.
I'd even be looking to extend Iongi
We have the right person in charge and Ryles has shown his hand in giving younger guys a chance. We are clearing the decks just in time
Couldn't agree more chief
Lol Tuivita and Smith were stuck in Jersey Flegg because of BA. They would not be going to player under him.
BA doesn't have a good reputation amongst the jrs, but totally agree we need to secure the clubs future quickly
