BA talks on SEN Radio

Few things he did say....

•Cartwright is the fittest forward in Parra, was pushing for a start in the first 13 before injury

•Mahoney needs help (tough for him to play 80mins, mind you it's only taken BA a few years to work that out)...

•Lussick will be 14 / Roache still trying to get his body ready

•Tom Opacic will have first crack at centres (he did say if that doesn't work there are a few youngsters he will give a run)

•Few more players debuting (he did mention Hollis's name)

•Trying to even out the training load so they are fresh at the back end of the season.

•He also mention he backs Moses 100% to get the job done.

  • Sounds like he has been listening to all the advice he gets from his loyal fans at 1EE...... i think there is about 5 of us now! lol

  • is there a link ??

  • Good to hear. If you are not evolving as a coach (or any occupation really) you are going backwards. The trick this year is to put on our best 17 each week. Hopefully with Reserve Grade running there will be players demanding to be selected in the 17.

  • I am glad he is finally addressing Maloney’s workload. His deliveries  ,kicking and running game will improve.

  • I'm glad to hear that Opacic will get first crack. He's a good player and can shine in a good team like the eels. Good to hear that we are going to carry a 14 but I don't think Lussick would be my pick. Definetly Roache for me.

    • Would rather Will Smith over Lussick.

      • x2

    • I reckon Jordan Rankin would be better than both Lussick, Roache and Smith. He reads the game really well. He's a good defender, great goal kicker, fast be silly not to give a chance.

      • Just a hunch Monto but I reckon Rankin won't be any where near being picked for first grade UNLESS there are a heap of injuries.
