Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA, have produced a mobile, self-ritghting, tackling dummy. This mobil virtual player (MVP) can move across the football field at speeds comparable to a college athlete and is used as the tackling dummy at Dartmouth practices. In simulated game situations, players learn correct tackling technique by tackling the mobile dummy instead of each other. This has been a key to reducing the hits in practice that can cause concussions. Dartmouth banned tackling in 2010.. The Dartmouth no -tackle practices teams have lost only three out of twenty games in the past two years. There is some evidence that concussions are reduced in games as a result of tackling dummy practice.
This could give the Eels an edge and reduce injury from man on man tackling practice.
I suggest someone get over to Dartmouth ASAP. It could be quiet expensive but would pay foe itself in reduced injuries.
I speculate that if this works as stated, Governments will bring a law that all teams must use such a set up.
For possible interest.

Put the board members on the training paddock and give them a few seconds head start then let the forwards loose
hahahaha well said you two
It will when I finish with it. I should explain my e-mail function has been down for about a month just got it going 30 minutes ago. I would have used an e-mail to BA instead of one eyed eel site. So bid goodbye to my beautiful idea.
Can we get a picture of these Dummies Rob?
