Sorry Brad, you were still picking Jakob before injuries hit. You showed your intentions in the Penrith trial, before the competition had even started. I don't buy it.
Bert very good point, in pre-season he did try it out before there were any significant injuries, he did it in round 1 only due to Russell's injury, though i do believe he would have done it late in that game too. This was not a spur of the moment selection, they had a plan to do it like that if the moment arised.
Well of course BA was trialling it in the pre-season. It has been well documented since the end of 2021 that we were short of quality outside backs since Ferguson left and Sivo did his ACL. Then the injuries hit all on the same side of the field.
