BA : Captain Run Press Conf

- unfair to single out the right edge

- was only one week and everyone was off , not just the edge

Jury is really out on this bloke   , but unless he's going the complete bluff (not his style ) it appears we'll be 1-17 tomorrow for anyone hoping for changes.

  • Oh well what can we do?

If Waqa runs out in the 4 then I guess I will be down to JB Sunday morning to buy another TV.

    • Don't do it Frank lol, I'm sure we've learnt by now to live with BA's bullshite

    • ahhahahhahahahhahaa!!

  • How can he be so blind to what everyone else can see and have seen for quite some time, is it arrogance, stubbornness or stupidity?.

  • Only one week? The bloke does realise we've these issues since late 2019?

  • I hope he can fire them up I can't stand Souths I want us to belt them but it's a worry was 38 nil last year at Bankwest Waqa and Fergo were ripped to shreds surely if it gets get ugly he will put marata in the centres surely

  • I get that he can't single anyone out in the media. No issue there. So many questions this week from journalists about our right edge. It's THE most obvious thing in the NRL.
Ok so BA wants to stick solid and fix up that edge. Fair enough. If he does that then he's a next level coach who can work with players to fix issues quickly.
OR he is as stubborn as a mule and refuses to make changes even though it's beyond obvious that it's needed.
If Souths destroy our right edge I genuinely think BA needs to be tapped on the shoulder. He's lost all perspective and it's  bordering on incompetence. The deficiencies of Waqa were extremely obvious to the 24,000 at BankWest and even the most casual observer. You're taking a massive risk here BA. I hope you know what you're doing.

    • Two things stick out for me. I have never been to a game where suporters cheer one of their own players being sent to the sin bin. Walking back to my car, random Parra supporters in the street were saying things like "let's hope the judiciary gives him 2 1/2  years (remaining contract term). I refuse to believe that BA will play Blake today. If he is picked I will not watch the game nor any other game he is picked to play in. I think the physcology term is Self Destructing Behaviour (when you do things that you know will harm you mentally or physically) and I am not going to put myself through watching Waqa ruin what was shaping as a tremendous season.

  • Part of me wants him to play and have us get flogged so he has to make a change.

The rest of me really wants us to come good

    • Lol that's every parra supporter.
