Down goes Frazier PNG in with the upset.
Why wasn't Lorima Seuseu selected
He is only 16
My take from our boys from the game..
Liam Martin still available for the Aus Schoolboy side again next year. Played really well at fullback didnt shy away from taking a run at the png defence also made a nice break and setup Bloomfield but was called back for a forward pass.. Should be the ball fullback come round 1 next year.
Bloomfield poor fucker KOd by an illegal play looked good at the start.. Looking forward to seeing him next year.
Nunn Tackled well made some good runs later in the game scored a nice try hitting a line .
Stewert out played the starting hooker will be interesting to see how he goes in 27. Should be the ball.and flegg hooker..
Bell came on tried hard needs to bulk up a bit next year will be the Ball captain round 1.
Special mention to the ref who had nfi...
I think Martin plays centre next year in SG ball. Riley Davis is my Ball fullback. Never knew he is still in high school next year
I think the club has a higher opinion of Martin than Davis. But happy to see both get a shot..
Perhaps espicially since Davis couldn't get a run in JF this year when we had bunch of randoms in the team. With Papalii likely gone we got lot of young fullbacks coming through. Bamblett, Davis, Martin, Seuseu and even Risati. I hope we put Bamblett in cup to start the year.
Personally hope we just build from within for every position (assuming we get Leniu) other than outside backs. Need to get a couple
