Atkins for Eels

Chris Barrett and AAPSeptember 9, 2010.Gold Coast winger Jordan Atkins is almost certain to sign with Parramatta for the next two years after turning down Cronulla but will wait until the Titans' finals campaign is over before completing the move. The 27-year-old, who has forced his way back into the starting side after injuries to Preston Campbell and David Mead, is on a provisional six-man bench for Friday night's play-off against the Warriors.

  • is he any good who will he replace
  • Goes well and knows how to score tries. How he'll go is anyone's guess nut I hope he will go well. I reckon he will be on one wing with Burt on the other wing.
  • I really don't understand this.
  • I agree Grothe has to be on 1 wing. But burtie in the halves no way. He will be targeted as morts was this year
  • As much as I don't like to agree with you I have always thought Burt could do well there. But it won't happen.

Atkins is an absolute waste of money.
  • would be nice to have a try scoring winger. dont believe we have had one for years.... 1 that is always able to find the try line.
  • Heard he is very fast
  • Maybe there is going to be some shuffling in the backline for 2011.... Maybe grothe as a backup forword?? Burt as a bench injection player?? Maybe Reddy moving to the forwards (which i like).....

Jordan Atkins had a real purple patch for around 6-8 games, but that was early 2008... He scored 4 tries on debut against the cowboys i think it may have been... Bit riddled with injury....
  • ..................

    ..................

better be on 50k a year max
i dnt mind cheap wingers ect. money should be in the 6,7,9,1 so......

    but atkins?? eh no biggie
  • Burt was an awesome 6 in the lower grades, but size sent him further out to the wing and back

I was gonna say Parra will win this until I read your Gough referee stat, and then I read your 200 game on big Junz, and remembered how well the storm do these big milestones and how Ryles wants to replicate them.
