Did anyone else think the back office gurus just smashed the game day experience out of the park today?
First home game of the season and the excitement was building rapidly at 'Parradise' with the 10 minutes to go announcement and countdown on the big screen.
Then, as the 5 minute announcement hit, the crowd could barely contain themselves.....
And then.......
Yet another example of the back office at this club missing the mark with pre game fan engagement/entertainment.
A 10 minute countdown to some pretty lame dope on a microphone. Trying his best to get people excited by a hectic rad dude on a bmx and a fully sick c… doing a burnout on his mad as Yamaha! 🤣🤣🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

Sounds like someone forgot to book the entertainment and at last minute grabbed some eshay lad from the station and told him go nuts
🤣🤣🤣
A quick glance around the crowd and most people seemed to have a confused WTF was that look on their face 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤣
I was confused watching it on fox.
I literally thought 'why the fuck is there a guy on a bmx? is he lost and just ended up on the field?'
Hahaha
At least it wasn't the super offensive cheer girls....
They refused....too demeaning to cheer for this team,
wow come on boomer it was a cross promotion with nitro circus which will be at the stadium later in the year... and btw the kids loved it and thought it was awesome
It's like the people complaining about the GF when a modern entertainer is on and they don't know the songs. They think everyone in the crowd is 60ish and prefer a geriatric like Barnsey.
Correct in one sense B2R.
Firstly, my parents might be boomers, but not me.
Secondly, you are actually reinforcing the main point with the cross promotion rubbish. It was a pathetic display in relation to the Parramatta Eels' first home match of the season. You know, all the countdown rubbish asking all the Blue & Gold fans to get excited, Welcome to Parradise, Parradise is ours, this is our home blah, blah, blah. Then just forget about the footy and promote an alternative event. It's just amateur stuff.
Hey no problem in Commbank Stadium promoting Nitro Circus if they want. Perhaps do it at half time. But to try and drum it up with a rubbish countdown to the first home game for the "Blue & Gold Army" and all the references to the Eels marketing around 'Parradise' was just laughable.
