Ask The Lurker (PARRA related)

For any1 interested

READERS BEWARE - it is from the Lurker, so take as you want

Drama Queen Burcham: Heard it here first lurk. Manly aren’t gunning for Pearce. They’re waiting on Haynes arrival to Parramatta and Gutherson will return to the Sea Eagles. Newcastle to secure Pearce.

The Lurker: What have you been smoking, bro? I want some! Hayne will end up at Parra but not sure any of your other predictions will come true

TILT: Farah thinking of going to Parra,  Aubusson to Titans?

The Lurker: I can’t see Brad Arthur taking a character like Farah. And Aubo is a loyal Rooster …but club not so loyal in return.

Anthony Fitzgerald Is French or Gutho on their way out following the Hayne plane return?

The Lurker: Hearing Gutherson could go but he was the Eels’ best player last season so it could blow up in their faces.

I do like the part where he says King Gutho isn't going to moanly, only to say he might be on his way out due to Hayne.

  • If there is one thing we have learnt about Brad Arthur, he is extremely loyal to his playing group, and Gutho has obviously always been one of his favourites. No way in the world, is Gutho going anywhere.

I can't see Hayne being considered for a second as a fullback. He's going to be 30 next year and he already appears to have dropped a yard in pace, which is critical in that position. I think the only one who is going to be impacted is Bev. Pre-Hayne I thought Gutho would shift to the centres, but I now think the best reshuffle to get them all in (and everything I've heard suggests that Semi is going to do his two years in France) is Ben to bide his time a little longer on the wing, Gutho to fullback and Hayne to centre.

    • The leagues club would be burnt down if Gutho forced to leave the club for any reason . Has this lurker dope ever go anything right?
    • I think you will find Guth will start the season on the wing, till he gets his confidence back.
    • Yep, theres only one spot for JH atm, thats centre.

Theres been a bit of chatter about Farrah to eels for about a month now, no idea if its got any legs.

Nobody is mentioning Hoffman, i think he will be moved on as soon as we can offload him, it might be him to go and not Guth.

      • Hayne will take Semi's spot Snakey.....go to the bank on it!

    • To be honest, I think at the moment Gutho is the best fullback of the 3 of them. I'd put him there regardless of whether Hayne comes or not. Bevo still has a bit to learn, and he can certainly be very damaging as a roaming winger, especially with Hayne next to him. BA is a smart operator, and he will want to use Hayne to develop his young guns and not just for Hayne to do all the exceptional stuff.

    • Yes I don't see any of that as a negative Phil, French can spend a couple of years on the wing and still be the match winner we want.

I love the idea of getting Farah and having a forward leader!

Cameron king probably doesn't deserve it but if he does a proper apprenticeship with Farah he will learn more than being injured ever taught him.

  • Gutherson will take time to get back to a level where he can play NRL let alone full back
Bevan is a worry with his unfixed PCL - will he keep getting hamstring issues
Think there is plenty of room for Hayne at full back next year
  • NO WAY would BA let Gutho go.  Rubbish article.

  • Lurker is a fekkin dummy. Where the hell has this Farrah rumour even come from ? bs
