Anyone else worried about tge Knights

Im worried that we might get our pants pulled down tomorrow if the boys are any bit switched off the knights remind me of us a couple of yeaes ago loseing but resilient and full of effort cspable of beating teams if they are off their game. Lets hope tge boys stick to whats been working and not try to blow them away every time like we did against the tigers which could off cost us dearly.

  • Anything can happen but i feel more confident with this Eels side compared to Eels sides of previous years. But anything can happen. And Henry Perenara is the referee.

    • I'm confident too of a win Nidge.

Henry seems to be his own man and less likely to follow the company line like most of his chums, so I don;t mind him having the whistle.

I can't see anyone getting to see the boy's PTU's tomorrow.

The Knights were carried home to win their last 2 by their home fans......whereas friday nite......

  • Semi to score a hat trick
    • He did that on his wedding night
  • In past years weve had a bit of a habit of only playing as good as our opposition, we have to move past that.

We need to not let the knights drag us down to their level, we need to find the consistency and pride in our own performance that we dictate how other teams play, not the other way around, Brads getting there in that dept but still lots of work to do.

We need to be ruthless and get into the habit of setting the pace and tone of the game regardless of who we play, every game counts especially at the pointy end of the season.

    • We are doing exactly what i warned about in this post above.

The knights have dragged us down to their level

  • Based on the way we have controlled games over the last month I can't see the Knights getting close to us. It won't be an easy game but I think we have too much class out wide. Eels by 14.
  • I'm worried about every single team . We haven't exactly blown anyone off the park yet .
    • Fear not Wiz why we have Mitch Moses. Teams are panicking with his presence. It's like they know they are going to get fcked, they just don't know how until it happens.

    • Ive got a really really bad feelinging about this game, hopefully jared hayne has a shocker

Hell On Eels replied to LB's discussion Two Hooker discussion
"Same here, MW. Both give us more depth, firepower, and starting options.
Ryley is ahead, but TDS has wheels you can't coach, and an unknown ceiling worth developing and being patient with."

SuperEel 22 replied to LB's discussion Two Hooker discussion
"That decision is ultimately why Ryles gets paid the big bucks. You also have to manage workload. Sure, we could ask Ryley to play 80 every week, but that would likely lead to his impact dropping and becoming less valuable to us."

Michael W. replied to LB's discussion Two Hooker discussion
"I think the two hooker rotation is the way to go, a lot of teams are doing it now. With the speed of the game increasing, the workload, and workmate, of Smith needs to be reduced enough for him to be at his best by seasons end, don't want him burnt…"

In our well-justified praise of Ryley Smith, there is a big thing being missed: his ability to read the game and footy IQ.
He is a couple of plays ahead and anticipating every move both in defence, primarily at present, but also in setting up the…
