I'm not talking about eels I'm talking about our stupid recruitiment and retention team.Like how can a group be so fcken stupid, surely we can petition to get em out of the club cause they fcken suck.Like you look at all the other clubs signing guns for good money then there's our stupid club who are "playing strategically "ITS NOT WORKING OUT FCK THE PLAYING STRATEGICALLY and go all out fmd.
Anytime I see eels connected to a player I instantly lose hope cause there's 0 chance of us even getting him even a reserve grade player we can chuck a mil at and they still won't come.Fck anyone here can do a better job then those idiots.

Have no faith long time ago. We have the money bit we can't get (buy) what we want. We are always left holding the proverbial empty bag because our R&R people maybe don't know how to convince and sell to targetted players the visions that will entice them to join us. They are only successful in signing players that other clubs do not want. Unless we change the people in our R&R personnel, then we will never be a top 8 team that may have a chance winning a Premiership.
I'm a believer, we haven't overpaid or offered an excessive contract term on any player since BA got the boot. We removed a lot of dead wood and signed a lot of young up and coming talent. Numerous players are delivering good value relative to their salary at this point in time and I think we've got a solid plan in place with internal development.
Keen for your take on who is delivering good value relative to their salary. I would struggle to name many to be honest.
Remember all teams have the same salary cap so our team is paid as much as the Panthers.
Smith, Russell, Williams, addo Carr, Tuivita, walker off the top of my head
I'm with you to a point I'm looking at other teams development and what we are producing so far and I'm far from convinced it's any better than anyone else.
I mean it was on show on the weekend who would you have Russell or Maclean
Tuivaiti or Lindsay Smith
Guymer or Martin
This is what we are up against as examples.
Im all for development all for it but is it as good or any better than anyone else on what I've seen so far I'd suggest not.
Don't forget one of those juniors (Talagi) playing for Penrith was ours and we couldn't keep him. See him outleap our FB to score a try?
Like you I'm all for juniors. And we have brought through a pretty decent crop lately but it's not earth shattering by any stretch. And one of our best left.
Development isn't merely developing local juniors it's about bringing the best juniors from around the country into our system. Hindmarsh, Lyon, PJ Marsh, Burt etc. Are we doing that or are we crossing our fingers that boys born in Kellyville will be the next Dally Messenger?
This squad needs rep level quality in tandem with developing debutants. We're not getting it done in any metric in R&R.
I'm not sure if anyone else actually viewed that clip that you posted of Matt Cameron talking about the Panthers attitude towards recruitment and losing players to other clubs. I really enjoyed it and got a lot from it, I meant to thank you for posting it. It's interesting that they get a sense of accomplishment when one of their players signs for another club for a price that will be the most money they will ever earn in their lives. He even said something along the lines of I'll drive him to his new club because we aren't matching that kind of money. There is no anger, no resentment, no animosity. This is just the way it is. All those panthers players you've mentioned are better than ours that you've used for comparison. But the Panthers are further along the journey than we are and it didn't happen for them straight away. You've got to consider where we will be in 12 months, 2 years, 5 years. Good things, strong things, resilient things take time to build. We're just getting started.
Never had faith in MON, only have to look at the state he left the Tigers in
Lol that was gone a while back.
