Nearly a week has passed since Buzz & Adrian mentioned we had a 'good' backrower/middle but we haven't really heard anything since. Does anyone have any further information on this?

Isn't it funny Micko, people blabbing on about Brown securing the games best ever deal and just " had " to go.
The reason why people are saying this is because he wasn't worthy of the deal, plain and simple. It has zero to do with it being some crazy awesome deal that's never been offered before. DCE got a 10 year , 1 million a year , deal 10 years ago. If Brown was playing good , his deal would be considered just ok, maybe even unders considering where a halves salary will be in another 5 years.
They are rubbish deals Wiz, what has Jason Taumalolo done lately? Hasn't played a decent game in years, payten spends half his time figuring out ways to offload him its not happening.
