Andy Raymond weighs in on Moses.

If I was a club powerbroker and the decision was mine to make, I’d announce a significant player signing or re-signing the week leading into Rd1. Perhaps a couple of days out from your opening game of the season. What a boost for the player involved, for his teammates, the club and its fans! Huge!

The day before a game is normally The Captains Run and therefore no player media availability, so I’d schedule the announcement the day before that to capitalise on the exposure.

Just me… 👀 Feb 28th

  • Coryn and Avenger can sleep well tonight.

    Well Done Mitchell.

  • What does this all supposed to mean????

    • That Moses is a done deal, and they're timing the reveal of the news to make it as exciting for the fans and pumping for the season as possible - right before the season starts.

Moses signing will be announced Feb 28th.

It lines up with pretty much everything people have been saying.

      • Thanks for the clarification Capt.

  • Clip back to this when Andy is right.

  • It makes sense, a way to sell last minute tickets also for a Thursday night game.

  • Could be right, shame it's not a leap year too and that could've added more mystery, as in a re-signing every 4 yrs.
