This morning, radio host Ray Hadley said that Anderson would not be at the club next year and 1Eyed Eel sources have indicated that key players have been told there likely will be changes for next season.
Speaking to 1Eyed Eel member Tony Bongo, Parramatta chairman Ray Spagnolo denied Hadley's claim that Reni Maitua had been signed at the behest of the board and also indicated that legal action could result from the segment. Click here to read Tony's comments.
Sources close to the board have indicated that Anderson's future will be decided during the annual review, a process that they are keen to embark on sooner rather than later. One of my trusted sources close to the playing roster, has indicated to me that some players have already been spoken to about the coaching situation for 2011 and indications are that there will be a change in coach next year.
Certainly, all activity in the past week would suggest that Anderson has lost the faith of the board after failing to make the finals with the pre-season favourites. Spagnolo has in recent weeks refused to guarantee the coaches position, having earlier assured supporters there would be no change. And CEO Paul Osborne and the board have openly distanced themselves from decisions made during the season, which many fans at least partially attribute for the club's poor performance.
It is public knowledge that the club has already sounded out Melbourne assistant coach Stephen Kearney while former Roosters and Shark coach Ricky Stuart is known to have a close bond with Osborne.

Its unfortunate our year had to end like this.
And I am not to keen on Mr Kearney either. Peoplehas been talking him up he is a world beater with his world cup win.
But wasn't Wayne Bennet his "Assistant" ??
The board should step back and let him do what he is paid to do. Newcastle hated Brian Smith for clearing out some players, then they made the finals and everyone loved him.
The bloke can coach. His records show that. Who else do we bring in?? Kearney?? has no first grade coaching experience. Stuart?? just because he is a mate of Spags and Ozzy. I would give Jason Taylor a crack well before these two. And really thats about it in coaches available.
He deserves to see out his contract. I like he speaks his mind, seems like a lot of people want to protect our "princess" players.
our club is a total rabble
for a group that was voted in to bring passion and pride back to our club
they have done the complete opposite
Well Done
