Reason 13 games in 9 days is a lot for someone as important as he is especially with his recent injury problems.Reason 2It's a away game I hate to say it but the stats say that were very unlikely to win any way.Reason 3His last game backing up was against Melbourne and he played his worst game of the season.Reason 4Souths at home on a Friday night we need him fully fit. While I would love him to play every week I'd rather he miss this one and not other games at the back end of the season.

  • Mate it's 3 games in 13 days. We had the bye last week and haven't played since Knights game. He will play.

  • Yes you are.

  • Fpv If he plays on Saturday it would be 3 in 9. Plus plane trips.
    • Tell me the 3 games in 9 days??? He last played for Parra on Sunday the 29th June and then last night.

    • You don't get it do you
      Last night he played
      IF he plays on saturday
      Then next Friday vs south's
It would then be 3 in 9 I'm not talking about the Knights game nobody is talking about the knights game.
    • I know but I think brad is looking at the bigger picture. Plus sandow played well at fullback last time so he might feel that he has a decent backup anyway.
  • Sorry I didn't process that one. I would still expect him to play. The other Qld boys are all named to back up not even 48hrs after Origin. Every game is an important 2 points. Hayne had a better off season and I believe his susceptible hammys are a lot stronger this year.

  • Well hopefully we put on a better display than we did at home 2 weeks ago. They are probably the most inform team in the comp and atm near unbeatable over there.

  • His recent injury problems have never kept Hayne from "donning the blues jumper" ! Is it me or does it seem that Hayne will do everything possible to pull a NSW jumper or a representative jumper on for that matter but it seems it's ok of he is rested from his clubs games!

As you have rightfully stated Hayne has had a lot of niggling injuries but he seems to overcome them for rep game, but I have to question a players commitment when it seems he wants to play against the best of the best to prove he is a better player than his opposition but he does not seem to have the same level of intensity or attitude continuously for club level games!

I am not questioning Haynes ability the bloke is a great player and is the eels best week in week out ( nine times out of ten) and I maybe being critical, but to me Hayne seems to want all the glory and want to play in a team full of champions against and plus accepting the generous renumeration funds he receives from his appearances at rep level!

Ask me all players are guilty of this attitude but I'm talking about Hayne!
    • Really? Cos I'm sure injury problems kept him out of origin 2 and 3 last year?

"Yep Talking Parra had Tuilagi and Pezet at 9.5 and felt that was too high considering both had issues during the game, particularly the first 25 mins."
