Adam Reynolds: Heartless

I used to think Adam Reynolds was a very good player. I used to cry for him to be picked on origin ahead of Pearce. But after seeing him play this season, in particular the past few weeks, I have realised that he is one of, if not, the most overrated player in the league. The bloke is heartless. Absolute wimp. When Souths were dealt with injuries and needed someone to stand up and deliver, it should have been him. Yet he went missing all season long. Just goes to show that when you have superstar team mates, anyone can look good. Without Burgess, Teo etc he has been exposed. He is weak and shows absolutely no ticker. And to be honest with you, lacks talent. His running game is piss poor, he can't tackle, kicking game which was always his strongest aspect is now only average. His attitude and discipline is terrible. Luke Keary isn't far off. They are hands down the most overrated halves pairing in the game.

  • Actually, I stand corrected. Brookes and Moses are the most overrated pairing. Reynolds and Keary come in at a close second.
  • Takes more than halves to win a premiership. Souths proved that this season.
  • I would still have him play Origin over Pearce
    • Id have Austin ahead of both of them.
  • That's what happens when you get a number of injurys you lose confidence. Especially leg injurys, players lack a little speed afterwards and tend not to push as hard off the offending leg. Losing agility and power. He was brilliant in the early rounds got injured and because Souths one only won the one game without him they rushed him back early . A couple of weeks later got injured again. He's struggled ever since.
    • Dosent stop you from playing with some ticker. Injuries also don't make you give away dumb penalties because you couldn't care less. That's exactly what I saw from him the past month of the season.
    • I agree with you Bup he was playing great before the injuries, just come back & lost his timing & then his confidence
  • The season went fast for reynolds. He had an injury early on in the season and then when he came back he was pretty crook from a serious concussion where he had more time on the sideline. He will be back.

    • I hope so, but like I said, injuries don't stop you from playing with a bit of ticker. He was disinterested. There is no excuse for that.
  • Of course. That's exactly my point though. Same halves, but you take two players out of that team and they are well and truly exposed. What does that say about Reynolds and Keary?
