Adam Reynolds at Halfback?

Seeing the article in the DT today, it's Interesting that the Bunnies have given him such a poor contract extension...
While I'll admit he's not outstanding, you can't deny he has been a pretty important and reliable feature in their success in the last couple of years. I think he deserves a bit more respect than what the Bunnies are showing here and we could potentially benefit from it. Yes injury is somewhat of a concern, but looking at the stats, it's nothing too different than what most players deal with year to year.

How could it work?

  • Adam Reynolds at Halfback
  • Moses to 5/8
  • Dylan Brown to left centre

Dylan Brown is definitely our long-term 5/8 option (potential captain too), but I think this just stabilises the team a little better across the park and fixes our centre issues. Thoughts?

    • Couldn't agree more Gary.

If Moses could read the game and adapt to what is needed he would be the best halfback in the game.

      Scott

  • For a start I very much doubt there is room in the salary cap unless Jennings' contract is torn up.

    • Get rid of Jennings, Fergo, and Moses heaps of cash then....

  • Who started the Brown to centre BS???

Hes a half he got thrown in at a young age because that's his postion you only move him if he has no future there.

As for Reynolds it would be between him and Moses I'd go Reynolds I think he's in the top 5 half's in the game.

That Been said I have a feeling Moses is about to start fulfilling his potential

    • Everyone is allowed there opening. Mine is DB will never be a champion number 6.  To date I think I am CORRECT DB has not realy excelled in the 6, compared to most NRL number 6,s his stats are shit. Yes his still young but he is not improving. Let's see how he goes this season under Joey.

I hope he improves out of sight, he needs to I f2f we are to win the compressor.

      • I'm gonna say this as nice as possible are you sure your ok? He's stats are way up there in the five eights, if he wasn't he wouldn't be one of the highest averages and one of the most expensive out of all the five-eigths in Supercoch. Supercoach is literally based off stats.

        • Have a look at the NRL 2020 stats, rated 10th, was rated 7th in 2019. Also have a look at overall stats he dosn,t make top 25 in any of them, woops maybe defence. we paid alot of money for potentional, maybe he will show that in 2021.

      • Graham make your comparison of Dylan with Cronk and Thurston at age 21.

  • We should put Paulo at halfback

    Moses at 5/8

    Dyl to centre

    Guth to hookers

and Reed to lock for his tackling

    • Obviously maybe sivo to second row and lane to wing because of his height
