The answer to this bulls#%t problem is very easy....
Ken Edwards and Israel as one make a appointment to speak to the head of NRL, at this meeting they layout their plans to the boss of nrl.
These plans are to take the NRL and the Salary cap system to court, for restraint of trade, Folau wants to play for parra, Folau has agreed to play his first season for $150,000, Folau doesnt want to go anywhere else to play league or union because his brothers play for parra and is extremely close friends to a number of players who also play for parra.
The salary cap is a illegal system which stops players playin for who they want to play for and limits their potential income earnings, the only reason why no player, team, club have challenged this farcical system is because of a gentleman's agreement for the good of the game.
Simply put its a RESTRAINT of Trade!!!!
Good of the game you say, was it for the good of the game to see Folau leave and head up afl's GWS?
Will it be for the good of the game if Folau goes to Union?
Why did the NRL bend over backwards to keep A.Johns, D.Lockyer? Yep, for the good of the game!!!
Any rulings on this matter in the court of law will bring the game to its knees, with players lining up to get paid what they're worth, the NRL will be in the foetal position sucking its thumb, wishing they had worked something out with Israel.
I promise you once they have outlined this plan to the NRL, a resolution will have been done within 48hrs.....sounds harsh I hear you say?
Well f#%k them (nrl) and the Auditor where was Inspector Clueso investigation when the Storm rorted the system on the quiet, which in the long run trotted out a illegal team in the 2009 and beat Parramatta in the Grand Final, which for some players would have been their biggest game of their life.
Was that for the good of the game? You tell me.....

thats what i think Parra should do too - take legal action. Its double standards for some clubs, a different set of rules for ours. ill be filthy if Folau ends up at another NRL club. Infact. we should all boycott season 2013 as fans in protest.
even if it stands up as a reasonable restraint - it will then need to be adjusted to remove the arbitrary components where the nrl can just make up a value. it will have to be based on a real monetary value.
Parra should get the lawyers in NOW!!
then 3rd party deals should be limited
Parra has been open and honest with the NRL bout this problem and they keep shutting the doors, I have said for a long time to get anywhere in this comp. you must cheat the system to get anywhere, cause once your on top of the comp. players are happy to stay at the club, attracting only the best players for you to choose.
Its interesting when the words 'court', 'lawyers', 'illegal' are brought up to the media, the NRL batten down the hatches, and they all go quite.....Funny dat!!
