QC

Guys,

I am a die hard EELS supporter but I don't see us getting QC. I feel management should concentrate on the up and coming stars we have and we have signed. I would like to see Tim Humble at 5/8, Brad Murray @ 1/2 and Morts & Ant Mitchell rotating hookers.

  • we still have like 500k to spend so where does that go?
  • As I have said before Legend, the strongest rumour out, is that QC has already signed with us, and is set to announce it after the completion of the Tri-Nations.

I haven't seen enough of Brad Murray to make a definitive statement as to whether or not he is up to it, but I feel that we'd be doing the same thing we have with Morts, that is, pinning all of our hopes on an NYC player.
Having said that, I have heard very good things about Murray, and as I have said many-a-time before, regardless of who we end up having in the halves, I will support this club vehemently and with the utmost passion.
  • Totally agree Ricky but he would be the best option in my opinion for 1/2 back possy. I will always follow the mighty EELS through whatever as well. I have seen a few games of of him and although playing NYC he looks good. I think we need to build our future side around young halves and I believe Tim & Brad are the ones if we don't get QC.
  • whos tim humble?
  • < sarcasm >
I can't imagine any club punting on two rookie, unproven halves - especially at number seven. That would be madness, wouldn't it?
    < /sarcasm >
  • manly, keiron forn and trent hodkinson, there u go 1eyed and manly are doin pritty good this year.
  • Yeah sorry guys Tom. Unproven yes but I think up to the task. I mean for FFS we cant do any worse than the pairings we have had this year

    Sarcasm taken lol
  • Foran is already an international. Hardly unproven!
    • Only started in first grade last year (21/6/09) though. Hardly a seasoned international.
  • I'm just worried at the pressure that is going to be on Brad Murray's shoulders if we rely on him to produce quickly.
The NRL is a whole different ball-game to the NYC.
