Tries his guts out and is as tough as nails.
When the rest of the forwards comes back from injury he won't have a starting position anymore so maybe worth a shot."

"To be fair the forward pack he is playing with has been great. Strike centre and backrower. A speedster fullback. "

They can and do. We'd have to apply for it and make the case. But the NRL can and will give teams dispensation for injuries to players due to in-season rep duties.
Not much we could do even if we did have the cash.
Money is not the issue Mace, we have plenty, it cannot buy you "playing time" Moses did nothing in that first Origin game to say rep football caused the injury.
The nature of the game now sees more and more injuries, the better you are at it, the more you are targetted. Look at guys like Turbo, a shadow of his former self caused by injuries, Ponga similar, Cleary has been through it and of course we have further witnessed it with Dyllan Brown (burnout), now its Moses turn.
Soon as they get into there mid to late 20's they start to get effected. Surprising once they get through this period the tough ones hang around. Watching some of these older players playing their 300 games is fascinating given the nature of the game.
One danger I see and especially with guys who depend on speed and I noticed this out of the nfl.Soft tissue injuries are the beginning of the end for those types who rely on explosiveness and speed as there calling cards.
Atlanta Falcons my team had the best WRer in football for about 6 years a absolute beast of an athlete and player but he started getting these soft tissue injuries around hamstrings and quads and he's just retired but his career tailed off in 2020 big time purely because of these injuries no matter what he did he just couldn't get back to that player he was pre 2020.
See much the same with turbo and god I hope it isn't the same with Moses especially at his age.
Are you talking about Julio Jones? It was sad seeing him decline the way he did. He signed with Tampa, who i support, it was a shame seeing a shell of his former HOF self.
Yep and it all started with soft tissue injuries once they kicked in game over.
It's the trade off of having all those fast twitch muscle fibres and flexibility - increased injury risk. Hip mobility is also incredibly important to how our entire body functions. I hope our strength and conditioning staff have an intense program dedicated to maintaining this. Professional cycling teams have an intense core strength and yoga program, and cycling is a repetitive activity in the same rom with no impact.
I also wonder if this trend of these floating bombs is contributing factor to all these injuries in the posterior chain.
He has to be close to giving up rep football. Playing a hand full of games for the club who's forking out 1.3 million a season is not on especially for a player over the age of 30.
He's been on a de load schedule for most of 2025 and hasn't goal kicked.
Moses should really consider what's best for Parramatta and do what many players have done before him .
All these short 3 or 4 day turn arounds contribute to his injury issues . This has to be it for him. His foot is becoming chronic and could be affecting other parts of his body. If he was right he'd be goal kicking.
Wow, if he's considering Origin 3 I'll be flabbergasted. He should be considering the rest of his career at Parramatta and the faithful fans . Right now, he's played a hand full of games in two years
yeah I'm thinking he will be back round 19 for us, hopefully luai gets the job done in game 2 and that's the end of that
