Might just be time to move on, moses is coming to the end of his prime years as a 7 and now is regularly missing games due to injury.
If he wants to win a premiership he will more than likely have to leave the eels as we are a minimum of 3 years away from even competing for a premiership, I actually quite expect his manager to start agitating for an exit next year if we are still a bottom 8 team.
The eels should make a massive play for Metcalf, offer him ridiculous money $1.2m+ per season for 5+ years.
Moses is still an elite player and we can build around him, the issue is getting him to give up the rep footy and focus on getting his body right. He needs an offseason of rest and a good pre season. No kangaroos tours and origin
Moses isn't going to give up rep footy, at the moment he is prioritising it over club footy. If he wasn't missing a lot of club footy it wouldn't be an issue but he is missing a lot of club footy.
If his body was holding up in nrl ok it would be no issue but he's hardly getting any nrl games in and jumping right into origin underdone. Getting injured is bound to happen with that. Club needs to get in his ear
Eli, get real son.... your in no position to judge his health with regards to what he should and should not do.
He has professionals that wil give him advice as well as a coach and genuine mentors, not assinine fans that know fcuk all about what is really happening.
Wish they'd know better, 😞
Eli, you have some of the worst takes on injury possible...it's like you've never had a sports injury and just don't fucking get that this is real life, involving real bodies and minds.
I just think you'd want to build your body up with nrl contact for a good portion of time before stepping into the origin arena, Moses hasn't done that the last 2 seasons. That's my main point on it
Haha ,are these professionals at Parramatta ? Are they like the professionals in recruitment and head of football ? We don't exactly excell in leading way with our professionals so why would our physios and co be any different to the other employees ?
Luckily though we have the magic sponge man in "WIZ".
