The Warrriors were up 12 - 6 against arghmanly they got a six again penalty 10 metres out from arghmanlys tryline on the first tackle, instead of taking the two and being 14 - 6 and who knows what happens after that it stripped The Warriors of a chance of going out in front by eight and the arghmanly nobheads kick a field goal to win it. I like the 6 again rule but yhere has to be a tweak like if its in the opposition 40 have the opportunity for 2 points like 6 again or kick call.
i like it but theres so many things wrong, another oner is where you get 6 again and drop the ball and the other side score... really what are we thinking, anything else you can think of to improve it ???

This is a very good point, def needs tweeking.
They had 79mins to win the game.
It's a good point. However they had plenty of time to win that game. Manly are super ordinary.
Side note: how far has Evans dropped? He was going ok when he left here but wow, he's gone backward massively.
Who? LOL
Apparently Nathan Brown was distinctly unimpressed by the shape he reported to preseason training in.
I agree Brissy. If you are coming off extended pressure and struggling to get off your own line, the kick for touch to gain ground is a much more sensible option. Its amazing how many 6 agains are called on the first tackle like you have described.
Teams will always analyse every rule change tk see how they can exploit it, that's why changes need to be very carefully examined before implementation
Fair point Brissy and a different way at looking at this.
Its worth the gamble too because a lot of the time a 6 again is not ruled and even if it is it's only at the expense of two or three tackles.
Always seems to be ways to exploit rules in rugby league and this is just another.

I like it but captain of team getting 6 again should be allowed to intetvene before next tackle to completed.
Another example was canberra got 6 again and then ran into touch before they even got tackled, potentially no advantage.
That being said, for once i fell the NRL is heading in the right direction with some of the rule changes they have made recently. About bloody time.
I agree the captain should have the right to shout to ref "We'll take the 2" when there is a 6 again call in the 20.
