Volkman: I think the trials and this recent game has showed he is not the answer. Not going to say much since everyone has watched him and know how he plays. I cannot see him ever being defensively good enough for a premiership winning team. Just his size makes him an easy target. I see him in England within 2 years.
Twiddle: Not ready for NRL yet. Has not even played NSW Cup yet. Will he be the one to really develop and present himself as an option? Would need a massive year and pre-season. Has the traits in attack.
Talataina: Turns 19 years old this year. Was our SG ball player of the year in 2024 and will probably win it again in 2025. Was injured at the start of the year but has arguably been the best player in the compeition since returning winning my MoM in all games he has played helping eels remain the only team undefeated in SG Ball. He is built like a nugget. Not tall, but deceptively very strong and has amazing playmaking and footwork. Defensively, he is not afraid to put the big hit despite his size. Real smokey to go up the grades quickly at the club espically with Dylan's decision. He is like a mixture of Nikorima and Luai. Great short kicking game. Bounces a round like a bunny, but that strength to break tackles.
Fletcher: Probably a while away as he is still building into his grame. More of a halfback and potential heir to Moses.
Risati: HM 5/8 who is also an Australian school boy in union. Turns 17 this year. Starting to find form in HM this year after a strong year last year. But as you can see by his age, he is a while away.

Parra have no one ready for 3yrs.
He was never the answer to Brown. Talagi was. Sanders is an out and out 7. Talagi needed time but they rushed him into FG. Than exposed him in FG in a shit team. His potential is as good as any 6 out there if you watch him through the juniors. 2026 would have probably been the perfect time for him to be in FG too.
Josh Lynn?
He wen't pretty well in the trial match.
Ricky won't let Sanders go because he's their long-term 7 solution, he'll overtake Fogarty by the end of the year and slowly progress him into first grade. Fogarty will then become Sanders backup.
Was it Twiddle who played in the second trial EA? Blonde guy.
what your list shows is the supreme lack of ready to go replacement depth we played with last year. Least Ryles has tried to correct that.
Yea. He is probably the best chance of being ready in 2026 from within the club.
Nah, that was Lynn
Thankyou Guys! Yep he was the one that looked interesting to me.
I think it's a bit early to be putting the red line through Volkman. He literally didn't play a game of footy for 1 and a half years. Still only 22 and played 6 first grade games.
