I feel I need to let my thoughts on this year be known.
I'll keep it brief.
It started with us been favourites. All the pre season talk was about the Hayne train and how many kilo's Tahu could leg press in the gym!!!
Then the season kicked off. It was more like a kick in the stomach.
We saw Mort's almost go to the Dogs, Poore start like a man playing first grade for the first time, Hayne struggling to find his spark, Inu looking bored, Tahu doing nothing but trying to pull off big hits (needed to prove all the leg press wasn't for nothing), Cayless struggling with leadership and quality play, Mort's suffering second year syndrome, Grothe pulling out his best performance ... on tv that is, Mateo showing no respect to the ball and as a result no respect to his teammates, Hindy trying so hard that he looks/sounds like an emotional wreck, Tahu's Origin racism thingy which ended up effecting our team as well, Ray Price opening his big mouth, Ando not opening his mouth enough, Paul Oz interviewing other coaches ...... I could go on and on.
I don't think we ever deserved to make the 8. 4th last (not including melb) is a true reflection of our year!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I've been saying that for the last 20 years!

Its time to get on with our lives for the next couple of months until we do it all again next year.
I think we are probably mid table next year and thats about it.
We need a bloody good clean out and thats a fact. Too old and too slow.
